Key Responsibilities & Functions:

The Administration Department performs a diverse set of duties crucial to the effective operation of Birdtail Sioux First Nation, ensuring seamless support across all Band programs and services.

• Overall Band Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of Birdtail Sioux First Nation.
• Program & Service Delivery Coordination: Facilitating the efficient and effective delivery of all Band programs and services to community members.
• Policy Implementation: Implementing and upholding the policies and directives set forth by the Chief and Council.
• Financial Oversight Support: Collaborating with the Finance Department to ensure responsible stewardship of Band resources.
• Inter-departmental Coordination: Ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among all Band departments to provide holistic support to the community.
• Information Management: Maintaining essential records, including Band Registry, to support community members and governance.
